I read the Ragman's blabberings and I thought your name was vaguely familiar. If you're the same Mr. Thompson I'm thinking of, I hope your knee surgery went well.
Well whoever you are, my hat goes off to you for signing your name to anything critical of the Rag. But I feel I have to warn you, I've heard rumors that people who even discuss the idea of a boycott against the Rag are now being threatened with physical violence....so please, please whatever you do, don't respond to the Ragman's demands for your address.

Thank you. No I will not provide my address for I feel for the safety of my family. I just wanted to express my opinion and excercise my right to free speech. I assumed my letter would make it to the paper and what Mr Slager would do with it.

Are the rumors that the Swifts Beach neighborhood is peopled by some mini mafia types - what with all the police calls, reports of drug sales in the open, and un-neighborly attitude displayed by some of the people of power and changing street names so that they can't be found?
