People, this oldtimer has been around a long time, so believe you me, I know an underlying threat when I see one.

RBNT, I suspect you're getting a wee bit carried away.

I've seen political passions erupt in violence many times elsewhere but nothing I've witnessed here worries me especially, unless we're discussing everyone's favorite squirrel control officer. Someone really should take Mr Ligor's guns away from him, for his own saftey if nothing else. Strictly speaking, brandishing firearms is illegal in MA.

I sat through tonight's usual BOS tedium aware as I was at every other recent town function that the catlady kept trying to give me the evil eye, the only genuine comic relief all evening. Well, that and actually getting Sauvageau to shut the fuck up for once.

I'm tired. I need sleep. Everyone knows my name and where to find me. And fuckitall, I am not answering the phone or the door for at least 8 hours. G'night, y'all.

Sorry, one last thing. That idiot posting on the Cape Cod Times got at one thing right. Newspaper boycotts are never especially effective and in this case, altogether unnecessary. Slager is doomed and he won't last long enough to help his evil twin get elected, so why bother? Besides, ridicule is way more fun, with none of the heavy lifting.

Just my take on it...

If your boycotting the store, then you're not in any danger of getting you face smashed in.

Either way, pathetic, idiotic, and a low-life thing to say.

That's just how the Cat lady looks.  How did the meeting go?

Forgive me. Got pulled in 10 directions at once today. Plus, this will come as no surprise to those of you with Verizon dsl, I've had only intermittent net access all day. I finally broke down and called and magically, service was instantly resolved after two hours of dead air. Ever noticed it's never their problem? Yeah, I'm in a foul mood and ready to eat raw meat.

What happened last night? Predictably, nothing. Did get some priceless pictures, though! Hang on and I'll post them later this evening.

The boycott is a non-issue; just more noise. I know the more prosperous packy owners in town - somewhat odd for someone who's never cared much for drink - and they all hate Slager. Honestly looks like the Beer Coaster order will go to multiple editions.

Order yours today! Yes, yes, all free! They are a non-stop giggle. You guys are great.

Slager will use the boycott idea (which he probably started) to create controversy (which doesn't exist), which in return will move his papers.

It's kind of like when they make a huge deal in the media about an offensive song or movie.  Sales skyrocket!

If it bleeds it leads and no news is bad news. All noise, all the time.

Hmm, should we rethink the beer coasters? They will make great holiday sockpuppet stuffers.
