Applications are now available for the 2011 Scholarships from the Mary Jane Pillsbury Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year, four scholarships, each in the amount of $1,100 will be awarded to Wareham High School Seniors who have been accepted to college and intend to study either English, Art, or Education. Applications are available in the Wareham High School Guidance Office and are due by April 22, 2011. A fifth scholarship, also in the amount of $1,100 will be available to a resident of the Town of Wareham to assist with the pursuit of a Master's Degree in Library Science. Applicants for this scholarship must be enrolled in an accredited Master's Degree in Library Science program. Applications for this scholarship are due by June 15, 2011 and can be obtained by sending an e-mail to MJPScholarship@gmail.com.
