The last two charter review committees were unelected and transparent frauds.

Nothing, not years with zeros in them, impedes us from trying again.

Why bother, so soon after the last horror?

Because we need a system that will elect competent, full time selectmen. And we need it soon.

I wonder if you even have to call for an elected or appointed Charter Review Committee. Can't you just submit an article on Town Meeting floor to change the government? Then, I am sure, it will result in a committee of some kind being formed to study what government should be in place.

Everyone knows I believe you must go back to a three member full time BOS in order to save the Town.

I don't have the information that we all need to show how to go about this...there are many people on this site that do, however, and I hope we hear from them.

From what I have read so far, an Article can be submitted at any special or annual Town Meeting to ask the Legislature to allow the Town to change to form of government. If the Town Meeting approves, it goes to the Legislature, which will probably approve it and send tit back for the Town to appoint, or elect, a review committee.
