I am going to burst if I don't tell someone - anyone!  Now, this is a quote
from a very reliable person.  I will make a call tomorrow, but I already know it is true..............

and I quote:    a little bird has told me that there is a posting in the police
station........the Crime Watch has resigned from doing parking tickets any-
more - FOREVER.   ding dong the witch is dead.             unquote

Wasn't his court hearing around this time?  I forgot the new date.

I found it.  George Coleman is to report to court for his pretrial on
October 23, 2009.      Trying to work out a deal?       That won't benifit the lady he hit.

Between Boy George, Sweet Brucey, and our top three TA finalist, is it really too much to ask for someone with a position of authority in this town to know how to drive?

The same bird told me the same thing. Crime Watch is out of the parking enforcement, ticket writing business.
Lessens the liability on the Town.
Good bye...good riddance!!

I guess it wasn't only Chief Joyce that thought crime watch writing parking tickets was a bad idea.

Something tells me we won't be seeing any articles written by the Halifax blogger suggesting that Chief Stanley is just trying to protect his friends in town from parking tickets like he wrote about Chief Joyce. I also doubt we will see any interference about this from the board of selectmen because that would undermine their attempt to remove the chief position from civil service and it would serve as an example as to why a civil service chief is needed in this town.

Didn't Capt. Cardalino go before the BOS and advise them that in order to issue parking tickets, the volunteers must be appointed as Parking Enforcement Officers? Chief Joyce couldn't "buck" the Selectmen, so he let it ride so as not to lose his job over it. But perhaps Chief Stanley knows full well the law and isn't willing to let it ride? Of course the BOS will say nothing to him.

If it was good news for Coleman, you can bet it was in the Halifax Hack's online BS.

Grandpa Simpson had a court today?  Wow, what happened?

Sweet Brucey, Grandpa Simpson, the selectmen's pick for a new TA...is it too much to ask for someone in authority in this town to know how to drive?
