New selectmen outside of their circle of friends.  Bobo and the BOS fear this idea more than the plague, war, and tornados all put together.

Why?

New selectmen outside of their circle will have full access to the selectmen's office and all of the documents in it.  God knows they don't want that to happen.

Kopelman and Paige would be obliged to give new selectmen outside of their circle full briefings on the state of the town's legal affairs, including any legal moves the board has taken for vendetta purposes, along with the full cost of it all.  God knows they don't want that to happen.

They would be required by law to include new selectmen outside their circle in any meetings they hold, public or private.  No more secret meetings.  Someone to report to the public if they take illegal actions behind closed doors.  God knows they don't want that to happen.

In short, new selectmen outside of their circle would have access to vast information that the current board does not want the public to see.  They will do ANYTHING, ANYTHING, ANYTHING to keep that from happening.

The house of cards they built on lies is crumbling all around them and they know it.  This site has been exposing lie after lie and giving their enforcer, Bobo, a run for his money.  They know it.

A person outside of their circle of friends came very close to winning a seat on the board of selectmen - and that was against the most respectable candidate they have run so far.  They won't be as lucky the next time around, with a dirt thief and a tax cheat as their candidates.  They know it.

The Crimewatchman has been charged with hitting a lady with a Crimewatchmobile.  Many people in their Onset/East Wareham power base have been complaining but to no avail.  Whether they wear WPD dark blue or Crimewatch neon green, if people feel they are being harrassed by someone in a law enforcement capacity and their complaints are falling on deaf ears, they are not going to be happy.  They don't know it, but they'll find out at the ballot box.

The audit was exposed by the 6 minute audio as a blogger witch hunt, and it pried the eyes of the local non-rag press wide open.  The Standard Times appears ready to expose their wrongdoing at every turn now.  They know it.

And so, a community meeting is scheduled where people who are unhappy with the poor quality of leadership shown by this board can voice their frustrations.  And more and more people who are not easily labeled as "power elitists" are voicing their concerns.  People that used to openly support them are asking questions.  People that voted for them have publicly said "never again."

The house of cards that Bobo's lies built is shaking now, and one good gust of wind will send it all tumbling down.  And with that wind will come new selectmen that will shine the spotlight on their misdeeds and send the cockroaches scurrying.

They will do anything to stop it.  ANYTHING. 

That's what Bobo's continuously updating columns that throw in everything from race baiting to the kitchen sink to stop a meeting where people can criticize the BOS from happening are all about.

The winds of change are blowing and there's not much they can do to stop it now.  Don't be distracted by the "noise."
