Newly elected Mayor Andrews told us Friday he canceled the BOS meeting tonight to remain in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
Now y'all have stopped laughing, any other plausible reasons occur to you?

What is his reasoning, and who in the hell is HE to cancel a Selectmens' meeting?
Did the Chairman and the other members of the BOS agree to this?
Why?

I found out that the "Office", assuming that means whomever runs the "Office" (The TA?"?), failed to provide notice in time because of the Holiday.
Notice was supposed to have been published on Thursday, but was not ready until Friday, therefor no meeting.
It's hard not to forget stuff like that.
You know, unimportant stuff like a Board of Selectmen's meeting.

If the meeting must be postponed do to an error by the clerk shouldn't there be an extention on the time the selectmen have to reject the chief, and accept the librarian. I think someone other than town counsel should be asked. Aren't there agencies to oversee this kind of dirty play.
I think it is time we started complaining until the state takes notice. They will not stop until they are stopped.
