This story in today's Eagle-Tribune piqued my interest. North Andover's Town Manager (Mark Rees) is dealing with some of the same issues we here are (it seems). With an annual budget (~53 Mill) "near" to our own (~60)..The "belt tightening" is staring to "dig in". He's got his own "Stanley situation" going on. (Will he stay, or will he go now?).

Do you think Lawrence's former Budget and Finance Director (and "your" TA) Mark Andrews has Mr. Rees on "speed dial"? I do.

"On his watch", Andrews helped "lead" Lawrence's finances down the toilet (~ 30 Mill deficit), and (as someome recently said..) "It's beginning to look a lot like Lawrence..everywhere you go.."
