I stopped by the COA last Thursday and some people seem to think that Brenda should apply for the COA director’s job when it becomes available. Isn’t there some a rule about not being able to take a town job for a certain amount of time after being selectmen?

There is a rule against that, and I don't know if it does, but it should also apply to spouses of lame duck selectman, like Curly and his attempt to get back the assessing job he screwed up the last time he had it to the tune of $1.3 million in overtaxing and a Mass DOR takeover.

Guy do you know how long Brenduh would have to wait to apply? If it is only a few months the town could drag out the process. It took them 9-10 months to replace Debbie Bell with Marcia.
