As I witnessed another Tuesday Night Live (and I don't miss an episode), the BOS violated the NEW Open Meeting Law when a non agenda item was discussed and action (a vote) was taken

As is her practise, Brenda brought up during her "report" the issues of the buses and a MEPA report.  They had discussions and took action.

What she should have done was ask the Chairman to put it on the agenda and invite the (to use one of their words) stakeholders.  No, no, no.  Got
to hide it until the end and blindside the school's administration and ADM.
That's great leadership.

How many want to bet that the law changed this July 1st because of this exact sort of behavior ?????

this should be reported by the bos to the attorney general's office. the bos are aware of the new open meeting law and the town gave a class on it. the only person concerned about spending money on attorney fees was cara winslow. good for her even though that vote should now be void.

"For them to go ahead and take a vote for a reverse auction ... was a slap in the face to this entire [School] Committee and the [Transportation Advisory] Committee," said School Committee member Kenneth Fontes at the committee's Wednesday evening meeting. Fontes chairs the Transportation Advisory Committee. He said the School Committee was not aware that the discussion or the vote would take place.
