One of the women who worked for Marcia through citizens for citizens quit last week because of Marcia’s verbal abuse. You have to understand these women are all over 55, they have to present financial statements to qualify. These are people who don’t have a lot of money and really NEED these jobs. Even though this woman really needed the money she just couldn’t take any more abuse from Marcia. This woman was considered one of Marcia’s “ favorites” so if she quit you can only imagine how she treats the rest of the staff. Another woman from citizens walked off the job a few weeks ago but came back the next day. She couldn’t take Marcia’s verbal abuse so she left before she said something she would regret. I think Marcia has set a new all time record for the number of people who have quit a town department.

Is the TA paying any attention to this situation? Has he read the last two resignation letters from people who resigned from the COA? Someone is eventually going to sue the town for verbal harassment because of Marcia maybe then the TA will pay attention to what is going on at the COA.
