This link was on the personnel boards page for the town and appears to be the most recent pay scale for employees. The head of inspections is a grade 10 and the police chief is a grade 14, who has given the town manager the right to exceed these pay scales to unsightly figures were hearing about? A part time police chief reportedly making over 2k a week is not fiscal responsibility nor is hiring an un-certified inspector to the tune of 70k+. I would hope that the BOS address this issue immediately! If these behind closed door dealings continue, Wareham will be stairing down the same barrel as Lawrence is!

I was around Town Hall last week quite a bit. There were two bomb threats next door..I saw "Biz" chatting in the parking lot a few times and smoking butts..I saw Andrews and Burke "chumming around" on several occasions, etc...Just your average week in the Ham..Continue the "change"...attend Town Meeting...otherwise you're part of the problem. Voicing your opinion is important every day...none more than this one.

I cannot believe they are actully going to run another summer with a part time police chief, this is absurd! If he is using his vacation time to work here, what will happen when it runs out? Will NA allow him to just go to a few days a week in good faith so he can go save poor little Wareham? This setup is not fair to Wareham or North Andover! I'm not saying that he isnt qualified but our town needs this position filled now. It was a quick fix to an issue that started last year and now its just poor management practices on the part of the Town Manager, his assistant and the previous BOS.

Maybe they can shell out these bloated salaries because they haven't given any other town employee a raise in three plus years.

rumor has it that stanleys vacation time has run out and is putting in no more than 4 hrs a week , yet collecting 2600 hundered a week .
