Those motorists joining the herd during early morning rush hour along Gibbs Ave Monday, March 1, had the company of kids walking to school and the combined efforts of every plow worthy truck in the Municipal Maintence contractor fleet shoveling the same rain and asphalt for two hours, starting before sunup.
I looked out my window, from the comfort of my warm bed, and watched as two kids were drenched head to toe. They turned around, probably heading home.
A friend in Onset described much the same wakeup call.
How many years must this continue?
