Came across this article in on the courier web site. These kids did a great job of collecting these items now they need our help so they can send them overseas.


WAREHAM —

Students from Wareham Middle School have collected more than 5,000 items to send to troops in Iraq.The collection was inspired by Wareham High School math teacher Paul Barnett, who is serving in Iraq.
Barnett is serving as a chaplain captain overseas. Due to the amount of items collected, which was more than anticipated, there is the associated cost of around $2,000 to send them overseas.
All donations are tax-deductible, and each donor will be recognized in the shipment as participating.
