Has it occurred to anyone else that one of the candidates in the upcoming election is also in charge of overseeing the election itself? As I understand it she opens and counts the absentee ballots as well and has the ability to discard ballots under various circumstances.
This has always bothered me and I'm wondering if there is an alternative oversight in an election where there is this sort of conflict of interest.
This comment is not directed personally. I don't think this situation should exist in any community so have to assume there is an alternative?

I think these questions and issues need to be addressed at the state level.

I think alot of people have worried about that, I've worried about it myself. I don't know what the answer is to ensure no shenanigans occur. Is it possible to get some election observers?

I thought bobo's job was to demonize anyone who engages in a potential conflict of interest?
