I met Steven's mother (although until I read this story I did not know who she was) at a doctors appointment and recently ran into her at the grocery store. While we were waiting in the waiting room we got to talking about her son, the conversation left me wondering how the world could be so cruel and how anyone could have such amazing strength. This is what Wareham is all about, beautiful people with hearts of gold making the world a better place. The Browns turned their grief into something positive, giving good loving homes to kids that have medical issues (unfortunately most people feel overwhelmed by children with medical issues so the kids have a tough time finding permanent homes). I feel honored to have met Mrs. Brown, and I hope we all can be inspired by the courage the Brown family has shown. This is who Wareham is!

TBL

Great story. Makes me thankful for what I have and feel foolish for sometimes worrying about what I don't have.
