SHOCKING there's no evidence included.  Also, SHOCKING that he wrote this under the title of "In This Corner", which, as discussed, was the umbrella he hid behind in the Chief Joyce trial.  Remember, the settlement with Joyce basically said that the "In This Corner" section of his blog isn't actually "news", but instead it's a "call to action".  So as long as what he writes there gets people "called to action", he can basically say whatever he wants, truthful or not.  It's slimey, but apparently legal.

So what's the lesson here?  Ignore this.  He's making stuff up.  AGAIN.  If I, of all people, can ignore his crap, then so can all of you :)  Let's let this one die

Two threads for this one..

Bobo wrote:

The secret ends right now. From 1995 to 2005 more than $3 million was laundered from the Wareham Free Library under the direction of former director/selectman Mary Jane Pillsbury, who died last year. At least 123 people were reportedly involved in a highly sophisticated operation in which large portions of private donations were returned immediately to the donors, who in turn declared 100 percent of the donation on their tax returns. The amount kicked-back to the donor in cash varied from 50 to 75 percent, depending on the amount of the donation. The greater the donation, the higher the percentage would be. Many donors preferred making frequent smaller donations so not to alert the attention of the Internal Revenue Service.
The remaining amount was then split  between Pillsbury, the board of library trustees and the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.
The list of people involved included current and former town officials, current and former town employees, current and former members of town boards, members of the media, Wareham police officers, school officials and employees and prominent members of the community.
As much as $1.5 million was embezzled from the library during that time period in order to replenish the money given back to donors.

What I've learned in my travels with Bobo is that if he hollers that you have danger coming to you from your left....look to your right.

People who have identified this  latest "off the wall" article as a distraction have got it right: He is trying to pull our attention away from what we REALLY need to be concerned with: April .
