It's the first thing I thought when I read it, I'll tell you that.

It's sad, it's no joke..the seriousness of the threat (or the action) is why we harped on it so much. Brushing it off as a hypothetical (by a hypothetical) is even more sad. If I said, "Man, if that guy ever talked to me like that, I'd burn his house down!"...How would that be? Would it be all okey dokey, if I said it was silly for you to take it serious, since "obviously" it was meant in jest, or whatever? No excuse. People say thing's "off the cuff" alot of times, but that NEVER should have gone to print (IMO). It reflects a level of vindictiveness by some unknown alleged "nutcase", that HAS to be considered a true potential threat.
