Terrific performance, George. You should know after the last Selectmen's meeting there were more than a few civilians who wondered whether you'd strayed to the dark side.
Hats off also to Corinne, who must have insisted you stand taller wearing a suit. Do I get a pass on short jokes tonight?

I THOUGHT MR DIONNE GAVE A PASSIONATE WELL INFORMED SPEECH. I THINK THE CHIEF IS DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THE DEPARTMENT HOWEVER HE HAS NOT SEEN THE TRUE COLORS OF THE BOS AND WHAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF

Was anyone else infuriated that there was a call for the Australian ballot? Imagine accusing the police officers in Wareham of possibly targeting citizens who voted to take the chief out of civil service. Sounds to me like the pot calling the kettle and all that. This bos is the vindictive group in town.
That was so insulting as was the acting chief's comments about the test--the implication being that some police in Wareham might not do well on tests. This country RUNS on testing for competence in many fields. The doctors and lawyers have to take tests as do many other professionals. You may not like it, but it is a standard way for the professions to test basic and advanced knowledge. The implication that some of our Wareham candidates can't cut it was insulting to me anyway.
I think the people in this town--yes 500 of them--showed their support for our police department last night. After more than 2 years of police bashing by our infamous bos, the police department can rest easy knowing that many townspeople support it.

The people asking for the Australian ballot are clearly part of the Halifax blogger's tin foil hat-wearing, everything is a conspiracy group. They are still frightened from reading Slager's article about the dark road sneaking up on Bruce when he was arrested, or from all the times Slager lied about Officer Pillsbury arresting Bruce's wife, when in fact she was not arrested, just given a citation for a court appearence. I knew that Slager was good at scaring old ladies like Leie Carmody, but I was surprised to see that he has also frightened grown men.

Actually TBL,
The man who requested the "double secret" ballot was none other than Ed P. He is a member of the CRC and a contributor to the election campaigns of Jane Donahue and Brenda Eckstrom. Hmmm, any connection there?
