I know I am new here. I am using my own name and live in wareham. Ther is a new group setting up CnaG I am sure many of you have heard this they will work with anyone and want to help Wareham slager had a chance to run with this story but has not responded. I was not sure this was where I should go with the word on the street but I want everyone to know some people really care they dont want to take back or move forward just help. I think this group is more like that than any other so I hope CnaG will match up with you. I even offered to speak to Paul Shooter but no response b ut I am sure some of you must have heard about CnaG on the street. Anyone? or is this my first and last post.

Brian welcome I have heard some talk of another group but not sure if it is the same you speak of. I do know of a group calle CnaG. If they get involved in what is happening it could be good.  let me know if you get more information. I don't think CnaG is their full name check it out. again welcome hope you stay and enjoy the ride.

First off, we know this guy is as proud of his Irish ancestry as I am proud of my Scottish ancestry.  I'm sure that if you "google" Brian Boru you'll get flooded with info about the original bearer of that name, who is an Irish legend based on reality.

Brian: We need more troops for our fight against a common "foe"..Try us out for a while to see if you'd like to join up.  If you are upset about the way things are going in Wareham you have found the right place to be at this moment in time.

On the mark Ham. You did what BoBo never thought to do. I have had him going  all afternoon. He keeps e-mailing me for more information But never thought to look it up himself. I thought if he saw it on this site he might print something. I am sure I am in for a Jeer this week that’s OK I have lived here longer than he has been alive. There are many people in Wareham wanting to help that are not part of any group and this site is hooking them in more and more each day , I don’t mean that in a bad way. I am sorry if I had you all wondering what was going on but if B0B0 had printed anything about the Clan in his paper he would have gotten that visit from the FBI he has wanted for so long. They are two groups that don’t get along. And The Clan is still around and strong.  Now to Quote someone we all dislike(we are not Hatebloger) do you know who I am. look up my name and remember that we don’t all speak German or French Clann na nGael is from an older language.  Lets all become one brotherhood to save Wareham by taking it back to move forward. I hope I proved a point to BoBo He is not an investigative reporter. As a matter of fact he is not a reporter.

Yes Dick I am proud of my Irish. gnomes are not the only ones that like to play tricks we Leprechauns have been around a long time. Dan and the Gnome know who I am and I am already working for you Look out for the little people. We can cause a lot of problems for the ones we do not like. I do not hate anyone and will work with the world to make things right. I know my friends and pray to god that he sprain the ankles of all my enemys so I will know them by their limp i know that is not quit how it goes but you got the point. Trick or treat time.

Brian i was not sure where you were going with it but I have had contact with members of the Clan in New Bedford about 15 years ago. Very interesting. Everyone should read about them and New Bedford's Whaling ship the Caltalpa. Quite a story. Most Irishmen know about the story from Down Under.

pshooter i knew I liked you for a reason. My wife of 20+years is Italian and I must admit that her family has a drink in their hand more often than I. And they have been known to be connected to another Brotherhood just like the Clan. We all have our stories to tell. I am a proud American first and Irish always. VietNam Vet and getting older by the day. but as I said before we Leprechauns do like to have fun. I agree with the Gnome

you are a very lucky man Larry. Slager does not like me today even though we were friend last week. At least I thought we were. He clames to be half Irish also. He has responded to me many times today but only with questions no ansewers. He is not the investagator he clames to be. I guess you and many others already knew that. he is not a happy camper tonight. i needed to find that out on my own Mr. Slager. sorry you did not live up to my expectations. My Name IS Brian Boru. Not made up I dont know if I am related to the King of Ireland but i would like to think so.

Larry ....As a gud Scot   wi' grandparents  who spoke with a burr ,I tell  you that you  mustna' be embarrassed by the  brogue of your forbears .  I mourn the loss of native dialects, and perk up when I hear the wonderful word music of a native of Ireland or Scotland.... And I'd rather hear bag pipes than  a violin concerto.  "It's enuff to make a rrrabbit charrge a bearr!"

Dick we have not met but  I have heard much about you and can't wate to meet you soon. We all need a fun post sometimes. back to the real work ahead of us at TM.

If you want Irish, Francis McDonald is pretty darn irish! You missed a great crockpot cook off. The Gnome made a southern favorite and came in first! Bob Brady came and shared the laughter and noise our little association hall is getting famous for!

If you want the recipe, it will be in the Friends of the Library Cookbook (I think).

Larry sorry I missed it. I am sure you have a number of very southern dishes with an irish twist. I you listen to real Irish music and then country you will see where it came from the Irish always like it a little warmer than the north can give them. That southern twang came from an irish broug.

I'm still a sucker for cabbage and cornedbeef. My father is from a small mining town in PA. You were either polish or irish in that town. The block parties were amazing with all the food. Perogies and halupkis, fresh hearth baked bread....geez...I can remember it like yesterday.
