Ignoring Bobo didn't last long, huh?

Relapse, guys. Stirring up shit is what Bobo does. That's -all- he knows how to do.

If you received threatening mail, please post it publicly here. No, I did not get one. No, I am not behind this nonsense, nor are any of the small group of people who helped launched this site.

I don't know how high-street.org entered this discussion but blaming someone from that site sounds even more unlikely. As far as I know, not one of its active participants are local to Wareham.

As I mentioned on another post, Bill is right.
Everything is OK.
Thanks, Bill.

Bill, This was on the view source long headers of the email from "serious" sent to me.

Recieved:     from high-street.org (linode.high-street.org [66.246.76.5]) by mrelay.perfora.net (node=mrus0) with ESMTP (Nemesis) id 0MKp8S-1Mm8Zm3B5V-000OUN; Fri, 11 Sep 2009 12:02:19 -0400

Since I never registered on high-street I have no idea how the email could have originated from there.

Bill and Dan: You are both absolutely right. No matter how many times I "holler"at people to ignore him, I'm like a horse that keeps running back into the burning barn.I'm resuming my resolve to watch without talking.I encourage my fellow Slager recividists to do the same. All of our combined energies should stay focussed on  our October and April goals.

Mail servers are programs that manage inbound and outbound email. Think Gmail or Yahoo. They are exactly the same thing, on a slightly larger scale.

Thanks for the information, Bill.
I now have a concept of it.
But, as I have told you many times, privately and on this site, I don't ever expect to be on your level of intellect.
I'm just glad you are my friend and not my enemy.

Dick,
I agree. It's hard and I have been "sneaking" looks.
But, our promise to Steve ends in a couple of days.
THEN...the fire horses will be released from the barn and I can't wait to read what they say.

People, while good to look at all angles and consider whether its a trick or an attempt to give you computer cooties, also consider the angle that it might be an actual good samaritan who thought of something we didn't and wanted to express his concern about it.

Not to mention, if you look up what he's talking about, you realize that the potential for joke material is endless.
