I Felt I Didn't Have Anything To Apologize For. In An On-line Column Earlier In The Week, I Asked What I Thought Was A Valid Hypothetic Question. The Following Day A Cape Verdian Couple Met With Slager About Taking Out An Add For Cape Verdeans For Free Speech.the Couple Hadn't Even Read My Comments, They Didn't Even Own A Computer. They Said Many Cape Verdeans In The Community Viewed Bradys Decision As Dicriminatory. If You Did Not Plant The Idea In Their Head That They Were Not Welcome Mr. Slager , Then Who Did? Mr Brady Never Mentioned Race. Anybody Who Wanted Change Was Welcome. I Suppose It Was Just A Coincidence "they" Came Into Your Office The Next Day! Also, The Only Column That Mentioned Race Or Hate Was Yours! "take Wareham Back From The Haters." Consider Yourself Exposed !!!!

I know what the ACLU told Mr. Slager. I called them on Tuesday and gave them the information they requested. An attorney at the ACLU called me Wednesday and told me the invitation did not exclude anyone based on race, religion, or gender. In fact, they would side with Mr. Brady's right to have the meeting. I also know that they told Mr. Slager the same thing. They also told me there was no investigation and no intent on having an investigation. He knew all this on Wednesday and yet he chose an irresponsible and dangerous path. He used the power of the media to stir racial tensions. The Town Moderator did the same thing by trying to organize a protest. The Selectmen stood by and allowed this to happen.
WHy?
Because they are afraid of the good people of this town standing up and saying NO MORE. They thought they could disrupt the meeting and the process. Why not use the Cape Verdean population to create a bigger divide in the community? This is the type of leadership we have. They don't care about the people or at least the majority of the people. We are all just a hinderance to their agenda. This is why we need change.
They have been exposed and that is the best part of this process. People now understand what we are dealing with. it's not just the Selectmen, it's also the Town Moderator and the local proganda paper. Le'ts get the word out and continue the effort for effective and qualified leadership in this town.

Wareham we need to come as one. Stop all this name calling and get the job done. The Selectmen don't seem to work for this town anymore its like they are fighting some kind of war.The Library has taken a toll remember its free for us all. The Police have had a hard time remember they are the ones who help stop our crime. I am just one living here but if we all come together a town could appear.

Bobo jeered Brady in the paper rag, and the jeer ended by taunting Brady, telling him to "look out the window tonight" (the paper came out Thursday) and "see all the protesters."
Sorry Bobo, we looked out the window, but didn't see any protesters - just two white guys, one that left his jacket at home, and the other one in track shorts.
Also, Bobo, in the paper version, gives his responses to Brady's criticism of the BOS, but labels it "The Railroading of George Coleman."
Sounds like Bobo should pay less attention to the bagels and more attention to proofreading...

Oh, it looks like Mr. Shooter has been promoted to "Correspondent." I guess either Bobo or Mr Shooter are checking the blogs. Now if only Bobo can collect all of the paper rags in town, cross out "The Railroading of George Coleman" and write in on all of them "Bobo's responses to Brady's Complaints About Sweet Brucey."

have never seen the Brockton drunk up close but was not too impressed last night (with her appearance or her demeanor)..under any influence or not, she's a poor excuse for an elected official..let's not forget Mr and Mrs Moderator and the DTC were instumental in getting her elected..what did we do to deserve a classless act like her??

I don't think Mr Shooter got the story right in his article on this issue. I wonder if Mr. Shooter would be willing to sit down with Mr. Wheeler and interview him one on one to get his side of the story?

Brenda Eckstrom has no class at all, yelling at a 80 yr old man, she created the scene, and tried to make Mr Wheeler look like he did, I was there and have no respect at all for her, we don`t need people like her representing wareham, be happy to sign a recall the sooner the better.
