Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their town.

Ok, I took some liberties with the it, but the words hold true.

The citizens of Wareham took a big step forward last night, but we must not let the momentum die.  While one might expect change from the bos/moderator/ragboy, I am not hopeful. We have time to see if they will change their evil ways, but in the mean time, we need to make plans. Mr. Brady--we await your guidance. While we don't plan to meet as a town group until October please don't let your good intentions die back. Many of us are willing to keep up the good fight every day.

Power in a democracy is always in the voters booth, so we need to find good candidates to run and we can't wait until next March to do so. The email the moderator sent also means we need a strong person well versed in the rules of order to run for moderator. His actions are reprehensible and he needs to go.

We can also continue to exert pressure when we see disservice being done. We are now a vocal group of citizens who are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. Do we need an election committee to be formed? Do we need a PR committee? Bob--please let us know what your next steps are going to be. Many of us are willing to help behind the scenes and in front of them.

I know everyone is probably tired of hearing me say it, but I also think it is time to really boycott the rag and ragboy. The response to him last night was overwhelming. Perhaps you heard my voice--I was the loudest one there and my hands hurt from clapping so loud. If we want to make changes in this town, we need to begin somewhere. Boycotting the rag is a good place to start. His lies and divisive lies have hurt this town. Please try as hard as you can to ignore his hate rag and his hate ragger followers. They don't deserve our attention or our time.

I am so encouraged and last night, I felt pride for the first time in a long time for my town. Let's work together for the good of our town. Change is coming folks. Let's make it real. Dare we have the audacity to HOPE?

Rag boy has finally pushed me over the edge. Admittedly I was never a big fan of a boycott - but not any more. It is time, he has crossed the line, this guy has got to go. As a start, I believe Rite Aid on rte 6 sells the rag. I personally will be in there today. I will talk with the manager and tell him/her that this will be the last time I will enter Rite Aid if they continue to sell the rag. I will move all my medications to anywhere else that does not carry the rag. I will make it clear to the manager that I will send a letter to the home office stating the reasons for my actions. I will then move on to Shaw's and repeat. While I admit I am only one person, I hope that posting this here will encourage others to do the same.
ps if anyone knows a good pharmacy that does not sell the rag please post it here, so I will know where to go.

Count me in.  Any business that supports race baiting does not deserve my business!

As you know, I declared INDEPENDENCE from the rag on July 4th. But I do have a June hard copy here. No, I didn't pay for it. I'll list the advertisers but since I am not up to date with July's hard copy editions, it may not be totally accurate. I thought he used to list where you could buy it, but I don't see that in the issue I have. I have seen it for sale at Shaw's.

Here are the hard copy advertisers: Before you boycott, you might want to speak to the owner's to ask them if they know they are supporting a person who lies, race baits, and has caused much harm to our town. I know some advertisers have stopped advertising when asked by more than just one customer. I know Ella's and Sippican Cafe used to advertise, but quite a lot of people that I know spoke to those owners. Their ads were not in the June issue I have at home.

But the best way to boycott is to stop reading the hard copy or the online version. We had proof last night that he only influences a few hard core bos supporters. We are his main readers. So, shall we go cold turkey??
