Steve Urbon wonders why Swift's Beach's gate is locked. I wonder the same thing. We paid for it---dearly. We the people should have access to it.

It amazes me how Sweet Brucey skirted the DA on this one.  How certain am I that he voted for it?  If he didn't vote for it, may God allow the Ragman to scratch off a billion dollar lottery ticket that would allow him to print rag newspapers in every town in America.

Has anybody read the reconstructed minutes that were produced from the DA investigation? or the follow up Article in the Wareham Courier - April 23, 2009? The report from Office of the DA was superficial, but did sanction the Town for not keeping the minutes of Executive Sessions for over five years.

Anyone interested can get a copy of the basic investigation report gatherd from the Town's records of the Eminent Domain case at the Selectmen;'s office - $4.00? -
leaving out all the Court filings.  Make sure you get the letter of 12-04-2003 from BD Realty Trust to the Selectmen and other Town Officials.  The total file would fill three file boxes.

Cindy Chamberlain Perolla's memory of Brucie's presence and obvious participation and conflict of interest is very revealing.  Abstaining from the public vote for show - setting us up for the kill!! Brucie's public apology - three years later - was an insult to our inteligence. He said he  regreted withholding  his personal involvement and interest in the property.  The apology dose not erase the damage inflicted on the owner of the land and the financial burden and continuing problems for the Town.

Following a request from John Decas for further investigation,  "Case Closed" describes the three page response from the DA's Office. The State Agencies - especially the Ehics Commission - have no teeth.   A private lawsuit is the only route to any thorough exposure of what has really transpired over the past nine years (Brucie's reign) behind closed doors. The Wareham BOS have operated illegally and unchecked. What can we do about this mess?

Go to the Feds. They don't care about any politicians in Massachusettts, and they are very patient. If there is something there, they will find it.You can file a complaint with the Federal Elections Div. Make sure you have your facts and make sure you submit evidence that the State took no action when they should have.
