I pulled this off the Standard Times under the comment section. There are some pretty hard accusations! If these are true, then why aren't the Selectmen screaming at the top of their lungs to the State? Can anyone de-bunk this?

i've been living in this town for twenty years now. in my opinion, this present board of selectment are uncovering things that should have been addressed many years ago. the devils you speak of are people like Bob Brady, John Decas, ex- Chief Joyce, and the members of  the" CBW". they are the ones along with the Standard Times who are creating the real "witch hunt". the former library trustees are now settling the law suit because what they did was illegal!  the computers are not private, they belong to the town. the missing $75,000 is earmarked for the free library alone and not to be transferred to any other department. the next department that will be exposed is the Water and Fire Dept. last years financial records have already been examined by an outside professional accountant. that person was brought in by a member of the former" BOS ". that ex- board member was not pleased to learn what was uncovered. a lot of the accounting was not done legally with respect to the state tax codes. equipment and vehicles were resold to employees, family or friends for very little money. one item was assessed at $20,000, yet it was sold to someone for $200, cheating the Town of Wareham out of thousands of dollars! that just one example! when the state auditors come in and examine all the records of all the departments and show the mismanagement, will you still cide with the Standard Times version of the story? put your personal opinions about the current 5 members of the "BOS" aside until all the information and facts play out. then we'll see who the real criminals are here!
