Damn, in a sad way, on one hand, it'd almost be good just to get him the hell out of the selectmen's chair.
Plus if he's on Beacon Hill, he'd be subjected to the statewide press, who won't be as lovey dovey with him as the Ragman.
But then on the other hand, Gifford has been a good state rep...so of course Bruce wants to screw that up.

bruce has to be out of fricken mind what a fuckin looser. i hope he runs and steps aside as a selectmen ,gifford will clean his clock. i have heard that bruce wants to fire mark gifford. he proballey flunked out of law school . this is why they are pushing for a mayor type of gov, jobs for losers. buy the way i heard john donahue resigned from his job yesterday.they allowed him to resign instead of fireing him, makeing it look good for him but he was pushed out of his job ,so when that asshole slager starts spinning it that he quit his job dont bellive him he was fired but was allowed to resign. slager is such a lieing bastard.

Bruce running for State Rep may be the best thing that could happen to Wareham. It may be the way to finally get the truth out. Susan Williams Gifford could highlight all of Bruce's legal, financial, and professional indiscretions and failures. His running will create a dilemma for ragman. He gives a lot of positive press to the Giffords.
Maybe Bruce decided to run so that if he were to win he could go out on a heart disability and get pay for life.
And when Brucie loses the race, will ragman henceforth indentify him as the man (?) who ran and failed in his bid for office. Will Brucie be forever labeled as a FORMER candidate? When Brucie loses will it be the fault of the truth bloggers? Will Ragman be there to hold and comfort Brucie as he learns the agony of defeat?

As they learned with the Tri-Town Rag, towns other than Wareham don't fall for this crap. Bruce won't go over well in Carver and the half of Bourne in the district, and that combined with enough Warehammers not liking him, he wouldn't stand a chance.
