I never thought I'd miss the Cat Lady's boring ramblings about her trips to Little Harbor or some garbage she saw in the street that municipal maintenance should have picked up the instant it hit the ground until the Ragman took over the section, as if he needed more space to churn out his trash.
QUOTH THE RAGMAN:
"Our inside sources tell us that the power elite has hatched a new plan to stop the trial of the former board of library trustees. They have temporarily abandoned their recall plan until they can put us out of business. If they are unsuccessful in doing that prior to Town Meeting (and they will be), they plan on trying to persuade Town Meeting voters to gut the legal budget in order to thwart the trial. If that fails, then they will launch their recall effort. It’s really frightening the lengths these people will go to end this trial. Apparently there is a great deal they do not want Wareham to know about."
TRANSLATION:
"I'm the Ragman and because I'm a BOS lackey, I know of some evil recall worthy crap that the BOS is trying to pull. I thought they were going to pull it sometime before April, so I started making up bogus stories about a planned recall attempt. That way, when the BOS actually does some horrible thing that is worthy of a recall, and the people get angry enough to propose a recall, I can say, "oh see, they planned it all along! But alas, the selectmen need more time to pull their recall worthy crap, so now I'll say the recall got postponed."
Ragman, why would anyone waste their time trying to put you out of business? Between your failure to keep the Cat Lady happy and your "volunteer to buy a paper at a paid location or get it for free at a free location" sales plan, you're doing an excellent job of putting yourself out of business on your own with no outside help.

PS, hey Ragman, before the legal budget can be "gutted," the BOS and finance committee actually have to answer repated questions about how much the town is spending on legal fees. What's the price tag, when will that question ever be answered?
Town meeting voters cant cut a number WHEN THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THE NUMBER IS!
