Interesting that the dept heads get accused of a lot of things publicly and no TA defends them.   He knows it's wrong and says nothing.  Taxpayers should want to know what is going on.  Why is the interference in day to day by selectmen so tolerated?  Do we think that laying off some people is going to solve our problems?  (It will only make more problems.) What about next year?  Close down all town functions?  Is it ok that they are using a downturned economy to disguise their nasty vengeful motives? It says a lot about us all that we are tolerating this behavior.   Our community won't recover for years.  The Bd of S. hasn't had one decent idea to build anything positive since they started hunting for heads.  That is not a fiscal plan.  And don't mention sr workoff. That is a joke.  It costs us more and they are not even necessarily the seniors who are poor.  The usual lip service to the elders but no real relief for those in need.

We're like a family with abusive parents and we are the cowering children.   We've lost our courage but hopefully not our character.
