The Wareham Fire District Water Department announced today its crews began adding chlorine to the water system Wednesday afternoon after learning Tuesday’s samples tested positive for total coliform but negative for e-coli.
The water department describes the measure as voluntary, says the chlorination order does not affect Onset residents and will remain in effect until further notice.

Whoever did it cut and paste without editing or reading the Water Dept press release, probably after seeing it here first.
edit: Yup. The Standard Times did the same thing. We don't rate squat, huh?
