Thank you Bill.

The only thought that comes to mind is:

The sad part is, this still won't motivate the loser to get a damn job.

I hate to see anyone go through these situations, the personal effects it can have on a family and especially children, at some point you have to put your novelty to the side and face the music.
The most disturbing issue is how the TFHC or formally known as the Move Wareham Forward group was more concerned with throwing some money to him so he could get his paper up and running to push their agenda and he took the bait.  So where are they all now I wonder?  My bet is looking the other way while their mouthpiece sinks into the abyss.
Im sure we will all be called haters and were "kicking a man while he's down" but remember, he stoked the fire during the Ekstrom/Savageau Regime that helped put alot of people out of jobs and into the same situation.

I have no idea how any man can sit back and let this happen and still call himself a man.  Most men would get a job cleaning toilets for below minimum wage before letting this happen.  Most men would get 2 or 3 jobs and work around the clock before letting this happen.  But this guy just sits back going "la dee da dee da I'll just keep putting out my profitless rag!!!"

Spanky, I know what you mean, normally it is not good to come across as "kicking a guy while he is down," but just remember, this is a guy who turned "kicking people while they are down" into an art form.  I can't begin to count the number of good people who have undeservedly had their reputations ripped to shreds by this clown.

Just a thought - if you can't get a job and keep a roof over your head, maybe you aren't in the best position to be ranting and raving about how the town should be run.

It still is sad.  And what's the message he is sending to his children - he cared more about destroying Wareham and hurting the people in Wareham than he did about taking care of his wife and children.  What is wrong with him?  This didn't just happen.  He had to go months without paying his mortgage and taxes to go into foreclosure.  Are the Donahues going to give him & his kids their extra house?   At least they gave him and his family that one spaghetti dinner....... He can't go much lower, can he?

I feel at this time Bobo really needs to abandon his profitless rag and focus on what is really important - like learning how to play the harmonica on a street corner while people throw their spare change into a paper cup.

Darn, Bobo says he is not homeless.  Still, you have to figure any clown that could let things go to the point that an auction notice is printed is pretty incompetent and should consider spending his time on getting a job instead of destroying Wareham.

I'm guessing maybe he managed to scrape together enough dollars at the last minute to keep the mortgage company at bay?  Or maybe his house is such a dump that no one bought it?  (Though I think if no one buys it the bank buys it).

Marcia getting him a writing teacher gig as her last official act before she was escorted from the building...the once a week rag going belly up...bringing back the rag as a monthly Mike and Ellen campaign newsletter to make a few bucks...all makes sense now.  Clearly this clown has some serious financial troubles if he is letting his mortgage go to the point that an auction notice was printed.

Most people would see this as a wake up call, pull themselves out of their rut, and get a job.  Bobo won't.  He'll just revert to his lazy ways and I'm sure the mortgage company or another creditor will come calling again.

How sad it is that he is so consumed by the hatred and his bizarre obsession with destroying people he doesn't even know that he won't realize he needs to get a job.

It's been nearly 5 years since CNC gave him the heave-ho.  Imagine how much better his household's financial situation would be now if he had gotten a job instead of embracing this obsession of ripping Wareham apart.  How many mortgage payments could he be ahead on if he had actually been working a real job the past several years?  He'll never get it, he's too engrossed in his hate to realize that he needs to get a job.

It's very sad.  It is obvious that his household requires a second steady income.  Too bad he will never be man enough to provide it.

Yes. ..and he decided to (try and) throw a few of us under the bus along the way.

Speaking of Wareham Week, this little tidbit should send a chill down everyone’s spine. During a discussion on the Wareham Week web site David Depeitro claimed that Wareham’s bond rating was “Baa,” which is slightly above junk bond status. That, of course, was nonsense. As of December Wareham’s rating was A1, a solid if unspectacular rating. When a blogger pointed out that a recent Wareham Week story had actually noted that the town’s bond rating was A1, Wareham Week actually went back and edited that information out of its original story. I kid you not. Fortunately an older “cache” version of the story still existed on the internet, and it was saved by many. It’s one thing to slant coverage to service a political agenda; it’s something else entirely to alter a previous news story to support the position of a faithful Take Back Wareham blogger.

First of all Bobo (for the 100th time) it's DiPietro. And..unlike you and your faithful (kool-aid drinking) minion, interestedparty/cranberry.. I cite my sources..and not after someone has proven my information unreliable (like you two do).. I actually try and do it when I add the information in the first place. In this case it was to dispute interestedparty's assertion that the Town has a "S&P rating of A1"...without citing their source.. So, I looked it up, and S&P doesn't even use that rating "system" (Moody's does)..and what I found seemed to indicate that the town's bond rating was worse than what interestedparty claimed it was. Not to knock Wareham Week..but I didn't get my information from them..in fact I have/had no idea they had mentioned it in an article, or if they (allegedly) removed it after it's being "discussed" by us. Take that up with them. But, either way..I wouldn't just rely on WW for this information anyway. Here are the two links I found (and added) to the Wareham Week "debate". See for yourselves..and you tell me who's information is more reliable.

Hey P-Span! can't you learn how to spell your own name? You must have attended whatsamatter U.

but nice job on the Bond rating,  which by the rating services's own definition is "average". Being at the top of the average ratings certainly does not make Wareham's bonds "junk" status; unless, that is, you are dancing the BoBo twist (not to be confused with Joey Dee & the Starlighters Peppermint Twist. BoBo's is bitter beyond belief).

Writing from the Living room? Somebody have to go potty, did they?

But the quality of the (you should pardon the expression) writing is unchanged as he changes rooms.

"Ad HOCK" committee. Now, please cut the deadbeat BoBo some slack here. We all know that he is In HOCK up to his ever-growing bald spot. No doubt that is why we have a classic Freudian slip here, when he meant to say "Ad HOC" committee. Pretty tricky, those Latin expressions.

"scrapping the bottom of the barrel" Now, we know that BoBo is the absolute bottom of the barrel, and as such, we would like nothing more than the scrapping of the bottom of the barrel. It appears that he agrees. Move it to the scrapp heap, by all means. His journalistic skills, so-called, have been scraping the bottom of the barrel for years. In total concert with his finances, it seems.

He is not in foreclosure...yet.

He has satisfied the Bank's terms to stay out of foreclosure for the time being, as long as he agrees to pay his mortgage on time.

Bailed out to about 30% of what was owed in order to forestall the foreclosure.

Let's see how long his reserve funds last.

The Bank does have a heart.

No one want to see kids thrown out on the streets just because one of the parental units is a failure and a hedonist.

I feel for the kids.

I also feel for his wife.
