last night i turned into the selectmens meeting and there was a debate going on about elmiating employees bloging on websites. the chaimen was aginst this sitieng the previous board of selectmens computor witch hunts . i with the chaimen on this and judy you need to worry about having enough money so there arnt any more cuts in the police and teachers . judy we dont need speech nazies elimating free speech. stop tring to hide the probles in wareham judy and you need to work on solving the problems in wareham instead. judy you were the author of screwing wareham taxpayers in not plowing unecepted streets and this was a dumb idea. judy no more computor witch hunts which devided this town . judy keep your promise that you wont run again when your term ends.

Wareham just gave the TA a ridiculous contract, has the 3rd highest paid Police Chief in the state on leave for bogus chest pains, a Planning Board secretary that gets paid for 40 hours/week but leaves at 1:30pm every day, is on its 5th Town Accountant in 3 years and has a Board of Health Director making about $80k/year to spend most of his work time working on his science fiction book and walk around Town Hall talking badly about everyone behind their backs....but yeah, let's focus on blogging. That's why Wareham is such a joke around the state. Mention Wareham to a town official anywhere and watch the eye-rolling.

CAN WE AFFORD A PLANNING BOARD SECETARY ,PAYING THEM FULL TIME NWHEN WE WE ONLY HAD A PART TIME PLANNER , THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME AT ALL. THE TOWN TA CONTRACT IS REDICULOUS . And the Planning Board secretary spent the last 3 years trying to stab the Town Planner in the back to deflect attention away from her sweetheart situation and 30% absentee-ism. Everyone is trying to protect their own little abuses that continue. Btw...whatever happened to the virtual town hall project? The one that cost the Town over $500,000 and sits in the IT office collecting dust? A Mark Andrews special and Derek is a mini-Andrews.
Why do the BOS continue to promote corruption and protect the abusers while the good workers get the shaft and leave for better jobs?
I love the comment on the Town Planner in Wareham Week after he left saying he spent his time filing grievances. He filed ONE and won it because Andrews lied to him about his salary and benefits when he was hired!!!! The guy got TWO letters congratulating him on being hired to two different job titles....WITH THE SAME DATE ON THEM!!!! LOL!!!!

I didn't catch the Selectmen's discussion and doesn't appear Wareham Week sent a reporter either but this week's BOS agenda did mention the town's Facebook page, the Selectmen's lame effort to manage its own message and put more distance between themselves and the peasants they serve.
