Hello-Everyone,
Looking-for-some-answers=if-anyone-is-in-the-know.-My-husband-and-I-bought-a-home-on-Agawam-Mill-Pond-about-4-yrs-ago.-Our-home-was-at-that-time-zone-X-.The-house-sits-about-125-ft-from-the-pond.-I-understand-that-FEMA-has-issued-new-flood-maps-but-it's-my-understanding-that-Mill-Pond-is-dam-controlled.-So-why-the-change-to-zone-AE-when-the-pond-is-man-made-dam-controlled?.-Also-this-lovely-pond-seems-to-be-turning-into-a-swamp-the-algae-over-growth-is-so-bad-the-past-2-years-its-even-difficult-setting-a-canoe-out-from-our-property.-This-over-growth-has-to-be-doing-something-to-the-habitat-and-fishery.-Is-there-anything-going-to-be-done-before-it-turns-into-a-pond-of-green-muck.-Just-wondering.
