A two car collision where Hathaway meets Main Street occurred about 2pm Wed and apparently lunched both vehicles. Wareham Week reports neither driver was seriously injured. Photos and story here:

That intersection, I was convinced as a kid, was worth a book of its own, year in and year out attracting untold vehicular carnage, often late at night. The Lincolns could never repair the fence in front fast enough to restrain the next wreck. Neither can its current owners.

The accident details were often so baffling I bamboozled several friends into believing a Lincoln Ghost lured the unsuspecting to their doom.  Nothing delights me more, as a nominal adult, than hearing those who still pass along that harmless fraud as gospel.
