9/11/01.. A day that will "live in infamy".. My heart still aches sometimes..

What I remember about the days that followed was that (for about the only time I've ever seen).. American's came about as close to being "one" as could ever hope to be achieved. Everyone was more courteous and friendly to everyone else. Even while it was "going on" I knew it was fleeting. Soon enough there would be the divides that have always existed..and will always exist. But for that brief time..I believe we almost had "unity". God Bless America.

Here is BoBo asking why Mr. Andrews, as the TA, didn't do his job and embarrassed the Town on this solemn day:

Rob - It may also be that flags can be lowered to half staff to honor recently deceased veteran's who are residents, but I'm not sure. I imagine the veteran's agent would know the answer

I understand, Andrea. I am more curious whose responsibility it is in Wareham to actually raise and lower the flags. Anyone who didn't have the sense to lower the flag to half-staff at Town Hall today should explain to someone why.

Will Roberta DEMAND why on the next Tuesday meeting? OR...will Michele bring it up...stand by.
