I was forwarded a log of the Sunday night chat on the "other" site. What I find the most interesting is the complete lack of knowledge some of these people have on the upcoming meeting and what is behind the efforts to Take Back Wareham. The whole recall thing is still being bantered around as if that is the main purpose of our meeting. In addition, Mr. Slager has expressed his desire to debate anyone from the website one on one. He also says he will expose the posters on this site for "what they really are". I am more than slightly amused by the entire process. One poster says this is entirely for our self interest as opposed to the good of the town. There is plenty on the surface, but how much do these people really know about the posters here? I"m pretty sure they don't know much about me, and based on some previous emails, they have no clue what I'm about.

There is more about the computer audit in the chat. It sounds like Slager is expecting the results to be earth shattering. I guess I will just wait and see. He also predicted the charges against Coleman would be dropped, which they were not.

Out of respect for the people that were chatting, I was asked to NOT post the actual log, which I haven't.

If anyone else wants to the chance to debate Slager, please stand up and be recognized. I might have to join chat next Sunday, at least for a little while. I stay pretty busy on Sundays, but I am considering it.

For the record, I would love to see a Slager vs Brady debate. I wonder if Slager really wants that or is just mouthing off?

I WILL DEBATE HIM ANYTIME. THE OUTCOMES OF OUR LAST DEBATES HAVE BEEN SLAGER HIDING BEHIND HIS JACKET AND STUFFING HIMSELF WITH BAGELS IN A CORNER.

Larry, just curious, on that site with 17,000 visitors, how many people participated in that chat?

Ham,
it looks like 5 or 6. There are some very strange statements made about the upcoming meeting as a recall effort. The more direct comments came from Slager. (Debate, exposing the hate bloggers, something fishy about the Coleman story, the town wide audit).

I guess I am just wondering how in the world could these people support the current BOS?

I was wrong on the numbers, it was 10. I don't want to register for his Sunday night chat and I will not pay to receive access to his site, so I guess I will just wait for the transcript. I certainly won't use my associates login to sign in, that would be illegal and I might end up with a lawsuit against me!
